Dr Dre as the Star of Hip Hop

Andre Romelle Young, also called Dr Dre was born on February 18, 1965. His musical job got going in the middle 1980s when he connected with a group who named themselves the World Class Wrecking Cru. The California based group gradually parted ways and Dr Dre went on to participate N.W.A with fellow rappers Eazy E and Ice Cube.

N.W.A started to be one of the primary groups to start a fresh genre of rap music. Gangsta rap utilized very revealing lyrics which were frequently restricted from radio stations and several stores declined to sell the controversial cds.

Dr Dre quit the group and Eazy E's record label. He started to be a solo artist with a completely new kind of gangsta rap. His one of a kind style was defined as West Coast G-funk. The heavy, slow bass tempo started to be a popular around the country.

The leisurely G-funk rhythm has become included in rap music through the entire past fifteen years. The lyrics remained as considered precise by most but were delivered with such casual style, numerous disregarded the vulgarity.

Dr Dre continued to make Snoop Dogg's first solo album, Doggystyle, released under the Death Row label. In 1995, Dr Dre has a falling out with Death Row label owner Suge Knight and quit the label. He soon began his very own label, Aftermath Entertainment in 1996.

The label fought for a few years before signing a mysterious kid from Detroit, Eminem. Eminem aided launch the label to achievements. Dr Dre released his second solo album in 1999, that accomplished number two on the Billboard chart and it has been certified platinum six periods.

Today Dr Dre is still a fundamental element of the music industry. He is a prosperous producer and business man. He has came out in several movies as well. His latest solo album, Detox is predicted to be released sometime this year.
